Model Development

The patterns of the models selected for the collection are prepared with great care in every requested size under the supervision of Leatherport’s experienced team, which has more than 25 years of expertise.
Leather and Materials
After determining the appropriate leather and materials in line with global market trends, especially those observed at international trade fairs, colors, linings and accessories are selected.
International trade fair research and market follow-up play an important role in selecting the leathers for each season. In accordance with our product range, collections are prepared and presented to our customers using leather types such as lamb, cowhide and goat leather, with finishes and qualities including aniline, semi-aniline, nubuck, suede, silky, vegetable-tanned and drum-dyed leather.
The special leather types developed within Leatherport are also among the most important factors behind our success.
The selection, sourcing and combination of materials and accessories is an extremely delicate process that requires highly meticulous work.

Orders, Production and Delivery
Once orders are confirmed, a production plan is prepared in accordance with the shipment date specified by the customer.
This process includes financing, sourcing leather and materials, multiplying patterns, and planning all stages according to the delivery date, including cutting, sewing, shell/lining work, handwork, finishing, quality control, packaging, as well as determining the shipping and customs partners.
